First I want to thank everyone who attended the Memorial yesterday and also everyone that wanted to attend but couldn't. I recieved quite a few phone calls during the day from people saying they wish they could be there. We had a lot of food laid out for everyone and by the end we had more than we started with. I also want to thank all of you for the kind comments below and also to those who want too but just can't find the words, I have always been one of those. I know it is not easy to put feelings into words something always seems to get lost in translation. But in Cathy's honor I will try and get better at that.

At that, I am going to close out the comment section as I know Cathy didn't ever want to make to much of a fuss over her. There are a lot of good comments below all true, including Frankie's oops. I could correct it but I think Cathy would like it the way it is. Cathy will be missed and those that know me will probably see it in my eyes for a long time coming. Thanks again and we love you all.
Craig

Craig, Jenny & Joni- Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cathys time seems too short here on earth, cling to all of your happy memories together. Love you lots!

To Craig, Joannie, and Jenny I am so sorry to hear of Cathy, it is such a shock. We have so many happy memories, of Friday night parties, watching our kids grow up, being there for each other. I just went thru all the pics, what a beautiful young girl, who turned out to be a fantastic woman. Yet, all the while you can see that mischievious smile that gave her so much personality. Cathy enjoyed life, and enjoyed everyone around her. She will be missed, but will always hold a place in my heart. My deepest sympathies. God Bless Dianne and Clay

Yesterday morning, I lost my mother-in-law to cancer. She was a wonderful lady and I am very glad I had the opportunity to know her. She called like she saw it and held nothing back. You always knew where you stood with her because she was not one to hold back what she was thinking. Something that I admired very much. Her passion for music, her love for her family, and her absolutely wonderful spirit is something I will always remember.

I want to express my sincere condolences to the Drooger family during this time of sorrow. Cathys fight stands as a testament to the type of person she was in body, but it is the memory of her kind and generous spirit that remains with me to this day. I am confident that she certainly dwells in one of the mansions of God this evening.

I knew Cathy for only one year. In that time, she was patient with my questions, supportive in my worries, and kind, caring and gentle in all she said to me. May God keep her always beside him, and her family in his loving peace.

My heartfelt condolences to the Drooger family during this year of great loss. Craig and Jen, please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I met Cathy once and although our conversation was not profound, she left an impression as a genuinely sweet and caring soul. Those are characteristics that also define you both so I know she left this world a very proud Wife and Mother.

Your presence will be missed.  No matter what time zone, you always answered for me.  I am truly grateful you found love for yourself and were able to see the unconditional love we offered you was without judgement.  I will always admire your spirit, energy, fire, respect for the supernatural, imagination, creativity and commitment to your family.  You will be my "Black Bird singing in the dead of night" and my "sunshine, my only sunshine". . . .

Cathy, You will be greatly missed by the college family. Every time I talked with you, I heard a lilt in your voice that gave me a lift. I will miss hearing classical music and your laugh coming from your office. You will not be forgotten.
